I use this great little rod for BFS in my kayak. It’s exactly what I thought it would be fits perfect in my hand, quick for “mod fast” and light. If you’re on the fence just buy it. The craftsmanship alone is worth it!
I haven't been fishing for very long but I've tried many different manufactures. From ugly stick, shinano, daiwa, st croix and TFO. I decided to give the Old 18 Suppressor a shot. My most expensive rod as of now and I will definitely be ordering more from them. I feel every noble and it's pulled 3 lbs smallies to little pumpkin seeds. Great rod.
suppressor rods are great so far. very well made and good balance. I bought 2 6'-6" ultra light and light for BFS fishing . casts 1/16 oz lures amazing.
will purchase more rods from this co. Customer service was great if you call they can answer any questions you have.
What can I say. This is my second order from old 18. BFS for sure
What an amazing rod. Casts light jigs very well. Looking to purchase another
Having caught a fish yet, bought two and the rods seem to be really nice!
Tis Rod bussin bussin. NO CAP. Legit custy service as well.
Saw the deal and had to grab a couple more. Great rods for performance and price. Going to have to order a few more rod socks!
I’ve been using a heck of a lot of Old 18 rods going back to the beginning like the Ambush, Hollow Point, Ascent, Kinetic, Suppressor and now this Buoyancy….I’ve got to say this is one heck of a rod! My first time out with it, I landed a 30” Red and it handled it like an absolute BOSS! I landed him with the Medium-Light, Mod-Fast.
