The only rod I love more than this one is my Buoyancy,but the kinetic hands down has been the hi gf est performing rod at a sub $100 price point. I have a medium light and I’ve snagged my PB and the the only time I caught two at once in a donkey in it. I never hit the ponds without it.
This rod is perfect for those baits you wanna put erratic action on, like jerk shads, ball tails ect with a 1/16 or 1/8 jighead. I love the action of this rod. Its similar to my waterloo hp lite medium/light rod. Its got plenty of backbone. I've reeled in a few slot reds in the short amount of time ive had it with no problems. I wouldn't try boat flipping anything over a couple lbs though. For the money you cant beat this rod. I got the light action 6'6". I'd like to try a 6'6" medium light for a little bit heavier baits, like topwaters/corkies

Finally got to go fishing and try out my new Kinetic fishing pole!! Landed some speckled trout with it. Casting was really good and the feel was just right!! Hope to catch some red fish on it soon.
