This rod is very nice I enjoy the sensitivity. I use this for throwing crankbaits similar to the 6xd and having the sensitivity to feel when you make bottom contact as well as a nice parabolic bend to keep those fish pinned and really load up and whip those heavy plugs a long way. Looks great to top it off.

The finish on this rod is 2nd to none! It's light and is prefect for a 3XD-8XD. With deep cranking season coming up I can't wait! Do yourself a favor and pick one or two up before the they're gone!!!

This rod is absolutely awesome. Great feeling when cranking and load up. Caught a 3 and 5 pounder and on crank bait and handled them like a dream.

Got my first catch with the new Ballistic. Second cast, second time fishing it. Got the deep crank down to about 18’ and boom, 4# Texas Large Mouth!! Awesome, boat flipped the 4# guy like nothing. Highly recommend get yourself one of these when they are back in stock!! Must have from Old 18.

If your are looking for one of the best cranking rods made today, look no further. The Ballistic I have is 7’8” and feels like I’m holding a 6’9” light weight. Light and super powerful is how I’d describe this rod. The flex is right on and I can cast it as far as anyone needs to cast a crank bait!! Great quality and the black/blue paint scheme is amazing. Highly recommend anyone get the Ballistic and any other Old 18 rod. Simply one of the best companies out there!!
