The Buoyancy Micro Lure Series Rods were developed for anglers who love to throw the lightest of lures and bait. Anchored on a premium modulus carbon blank, this combination gives maximum strength and feather weight. Buoyancy rods are works of art that can relay the lightest hits and yet fight the biggest fish. Only using the best components, it has 316 Alconite guides, Fuji SK2 reel seats, and a unique carbon fiber split grip that will give an incredible feel without slip. The Buoyancy's style is in a class of its own. Inspired by our wildly popular SEAL Legacy rod, the Buoyancy is wrapped in Blue & Gold with anodized gold accents. Insanely light and designed for all-day sight and precision strike casting, Buoyancy is a serious weapon for the fight.

Grabbed the 6'6" ML. Caught a couple small reds this weekend held up great. A decent fish would be a blast with this rod!
Amazing rod!! Super glad I made the purchase!
This is number 15 of my Old 18 Rod collection and will be paired with a Bates Hundo LTS 100 size casting reel for BFS efforts. My collection contains both casting and spinning including the Buoyancy, Suppressor and Kinetic series used in both fresh and saltwater with premium reels by Bates, Diawa and Shimano perfectly matched and paired with each rod. As a veteran myself, I support veterans and especially veteran owned small businesses. All of the Old 18 rods are beautifully built and fish as they are described.
Very good rod could not ask for more
7' ultra light, casting, minimalist quality, rod for 'VERY' light tackle Redfish & Trout fishing. Add a super small, light weight, low-pro baitcaster and ya have the Ultimate Light Tackle combo. Since purchasing two, I'm not using any others. Reminds me of some rods I had years ago, that I fished ultra-light till the reel seats fell off. Those Bass BFS guys think they invented UL. Sorry fella's ''No you didn't''
So far I’m really enjoying my new Buoyancy rod. There 2 things I’d like to mention that I’ve noticed. First is there is a small excess epoxy drip on the finger grip right where my index finger rests. It doesn’t bother me when I hold the rod but, it’s there. The other thing is in all of the photos I’ve seen the entire rod had a sealed/shiny finish. My rod came matte or without a shiny finish. Again, I don’t mind the matte look and I’m sure it’s for weight savings however, that is not how the rod appears in any photos I’ve seen when purchasing the rod. It makes me think that my rod wasn’t finished but I’m almost positive that isn’t the case and perhaps it was just a design change from the online photos.
Im not really brand loyal to fishing rods as much ae i am for reels. But these rods are the first ones in a while to make me want all old 18 rods. This knighthawk rod feels twice as expensive and super sensitive and still light weight. Love it
I put this to use the day I got it. 26 fish in and I
Am over the moon with it. I will buy others soon
