Craftsmanship could use some improvement

The action of the rod if beautiful and the blank itself is top notch but basically is all your paying for, oh and the recoil guides wich I don't understand the hype on them they look and act like any other guides I've had on a nice rod. Whoever put the rod together left it looking more like a 100 rod than a 300. There is glue coming out the seems where the cork meets the reel handle. Below that there is another piece that you can see is not even and looks bad. Idk I was pretty disappointed that I paid 300 for it with little to no quality control. It was as if they just ordered some parts slapped it together and said that's 300. I have a 75 rod I got on sale from old18 that is way nicer looking than this.

6.5 medium light Midnight Extra Fast

It's a very nice blank and the components are mostly great but it's the worksman ship of the rod that doesn't feel like a 300 rod should. There is glue sticking out between the cork handle and where it sits right beneath the reel handle. There was silver paint splats on the blank or its chip missing, I can't really tell I just know it looks ugly. The rod does cast good and is nice and lite. Im just disappointed that I paid 300 bucks for it. I was hoping for a better looking rod then what I received. I have a 75 dollar rod I got from old 18 that looks and feels more high quality than what I received. Just the things to keep in mind if your thinking about buying it.
