Only reason for saying that is the rods I ordered were supposed to be delivered on the 11th of January. It is now the 26th and I still have not recieved them. Not old 18s fault, it's been sitting at the fedex location near me for more than 2 weeks. Will update when I get my order hopefully the rods are ok.

Great Rod!

I’ve been using a heck of a lot of Old 18 rods going back to the beginning like the Ambush, Hollow Point, Ascent, Kinetic, Suppressor and now this Buoyancy….I’ve got to say this is one heck of a rod! My first time out with it, I landed a 30” Red and it handled it like an absolute BOSS! I landed him with the Medium-Light, Mod-Fast.

Excellent BFS rod

Pairs great with my Aldebaran, lightweight and sensitive combo. If there was any negative, which really is preference, the grip on the end would be a split instead of 1 peice. Hope there will be a 6’ version!

I will repeat what I said about the Suppressor rod I bought- what I like most about the rods is how true they are to their specifications. I determined this by casting various weights of lures. I will purchase from Old 18 again.
