This rod handles big swimbaits very nicely and feels very comfortable in your hands
The big stick I picked up from Old 18, Traverse Swim Bait rod is absolutely one of the highest quality rods we have ever purchased. Amazing craftsmanship went into the build of this powerful beast!! Caught several big fish so far, but waiting to grab one of those elusive giants and haul it in with this amazing rod. Great in all aspects from feel and cast ability. Great work!!
A great rod went out and caught a nice 23” black drum on it first day out it handled the fight well and has served me well
The 7'3 medium heavy suppressor is an absolute dream to fish with. The lightness, sensitivity, comfortability, makes this rod a must have.I own G Loomis,St.Croix,Daiwa, Shimano rods, but I always seem to pick up my suppressor!I had to buy a second one!A great rod for all around techniques....an absolute blast to fish with!
Beast of a rod casts a mile and length with plenty of backbone to pull in hogs at the jetty! Highly recommended!!!
I own a number of rods from different manufacturers. The Old 18 is at the top of the list for weight, sensitivity, and strength. I’m thinking of buying another one just like this one.
It is a great rod just what i needed it for
