I've always been a medium heavy rod owner because of fear of breaking my rods, because of old 18, my approach to fishing has completely changed to light and ultra light. definitely a game changer.
This rod is well balanced, light and priced right! It’s great for Topwater, light to medium worming, light jig fishing and more!
Ive got a couple other BFS rods but I cant seem to keep this one out of my hands. It's just plain fun to fish with. My only regret is getting it so late in the season. Can't wait till spring! Need to get another, or two, before then. May need to try one of Old 18's other BFS rods.
Very nice rod, a true ultralight! Great sensitivity, can feel the smallest bites and fighting little fish is a joy with this rod!
Very pleased with my new rods. My 7’ suppressors are perfect for popping cork fishing, and the 7’ kenetic is perfect for wade fishing. I can cast noticeably farther with noticeably less effort. Both rods are sensitive and flexible, but plenty of spine.
