I'm very impressed with the quality of the Suppressor rod. Very solid and performed well on my first outing. Sensitivity is very good!
By far the best jerk bait/crank bait rod I have ever used. Tough enough to throw them 10-12 foot divers with enough back bone to get them down deep and get a good hookset but also light enough to throw the small ones as far as you want. Best all around rod for jerk baits and shallow to medium cranks it'll be on my deck this whole season.
If you want an all-around medium casting rod, this is it. It's light, durable, and versatile. An awesome rod for co-anglers fishing Toyota or BASS open trails because you can do a lot with this one rod.
Suppressor - 7'3" Medium Casting Fast
Really enjoying this rod , it feels light but has a great structure to land larger fish if needed. I have it paired with curado bfs xg 1/16th is my go to for this rod up to 1/8 glad I went with old 18 for my first bfs rod
Rod is awsome in every way will be buying more and recommending others to also get one. Makes it effortless keeping tension on the line.
Action and build are excellent! Haven’t fished it yet, working to much. Can’t wait to use it, Balances perfectly with 22 Aldebaran bfs reel.
The action of the rod if beautiful and the blank itself is top notch but basically is all your paying for, oh and the recoil guides wich I don't understand the hype on them they look and act like any other guides I've had on a nice rod. Whoever put the rod together left it looking more like a 100 rod than a 300. There is glue coming out the seems where the cork meets the reel handle. Below that there is another piece that you can see is not even and looks bad. Idk I was pretty disappointed that I paid 300 for it with little to no quality control. It was as if they just ordered some parts slapped it together and said that's 300. I have a 75 rod I got on sale from old18 that is way nicer looking than this.
Top rods!!! Can Handle big fish, love it
