First fish with a new suppressor was a PB for me!

There is little I can say in praise that many others have not repeated many times before. These guys truly do care and are appreciative of their clients. When you add the value per dollar invested there’s nothing on the market can compare. Broke in a new Med Suppressor on Lake Texacoma this week. First fish caught on the new rig was a PB stripper. Love the next 18-20 caught that day on this magnificent rod. Thanks again Old 18!

Suppressor 7”6 Heavy casting fast

Couldn’t wait for good weather to try out this new rod for my Carolina rig. Beefy enough to handle a 3/4 oz weight and sensitive enough to feel the slightest of activity. Well balanced sensitive rod!

Very sensitive for a big rod! Versatile rod for flipping heavy cover or pulling them out of deep brush piles. Currently my “go-to” rod for offshore brush piles spooled up with 20-25lbs fluorocarbon.

This is a Carolina rig machine feels everything.

Great sensitivity

The 7'6 Heavy Fast is my go too rod for fishing 3/4 and 1oz jigs and Carolina rigs in deep offshore brushpiles and log jams , Great sensitivity and the back bone to haul the big ones out of heavy cover.

I haven't used it yet. I'm waiting for my reel to get repaired. The rod is light and I really like the feel of the rod.

Fishing ultralight in salt and fresh for as long as I remember. The old 18 suppressor is my go to for virtually all inshore and freshwater fishing. It can make a crappie fun and can horse in a trophy flounder. Truly a jack of all trades and for my kind of fishing a match made in heaven. If you are on the fence on getting one, get two.

Great rod. Very sensitive but strong. The responsiveness when setting the hook is top notch. I’m looking to buy another one asap.

Haven’t Received Rod

I haven’t received the rod that I ordered. I think the problem may be on the shipping service. The only reason for the negative review is that I attempted to contact Old 18 twice on the issue and have yet to receive a response.
