BCY-70ULS-MF
The Buoyancy Micro Lure Series Rods were developed for anglers who love to throw the lightest of lures and bait. Built in the USA by Master Builder Jake Brewer and anchored on a premium modulus carbon blank. This combination gives maximum strength and feather weight. Buoyancy rods are works of art that can relay the lightest hits and yet fight the biggest fish. Only using the best components, it has 316 Alconite guides, Fuji SK2 reel seats, and a unique carbon fiber split grip that will give an incredible feel without slip. The Buoyancy's style is in a class of its own. Inspired by our wildly popular SEAL Legacy rod, the Buoyancy is wrapped in Blue & Gold with anodized gold accents. Insanely light and designed for all-day sight and precision strike casting, Buoyancy is a serious weapon for the fight.

Super light excellent build best rods I own
I am loving my new Old 18 Buoyancy Ultra Light Spinning rod. Only used once so far but it caught all the fish and can’t wait to get back out again. I can see more Buoyancy rods in my future for sure.
It's still very much winter here in south-central Pennsylvania and I haven't tried it in the salt yet, but paired with the 1000 series Stella, it's feather light and a joy to handle. Caught a 18 inch wild Brown Trout on a nearby stream with it and it handled it extremely well and then a mess of Crappie shore fishing under a bridge five minutes from home. Thanks to Mark from MDLR fishing which moved my interest to the Old 18 Line and as a native Texan and a veteran who supports veterans I know own 8 of them and look forward to more..
Christmas present-didn’t try yet
Wow, this rod is incredible. Two of my favorite companies in one, and perfect for the small swim baits I love to throw with enough backbone to consistently set the hook. I’d say get one, but I got the last one… hopefully they’ll make something like this again soon, but in the meantime, I’m also very happy with my suppressor.
Looks really nice on the old 18 7' kinetic ultra light with a Bates Salty Hundo. And a 7'3" kinetic medium heavy with a Shimano Tranx 200. Another well made product good job Old18!!!
however, i wish i would have ordered one of them a bit firmer so i could compare the two.
This rod is my absolute go too for jigs and Heavy Texas rigs. Old18 has focused on feel and amazing function. Feel more bites and get more hookups. Strength and feel is an amazing combination.
I have several of the kenetic rods and they are all amazing. The 7'6 medium I'm going to use for medium to deep diving crankbaits. Going to get out on the water soon to see how it holds up to some bigs! Going to pair it up with a lews tournament reel.
