Commando - 7'0" Ultra Light BFS Casting Mod-Fast
I have a Boyance and the feel of the Commando is almost as good....the grip is not as comfortable, but for the price it's hard to beat
Sofar so good ,I like it ,I can cast with 1/32 jig .
I was looking for my second bfs rod.
I kept coming back to Old 18.
Glad I pulled the trigger on it.
Got out on the water and started using it.
Caught a small LMB within a few minutes.
The rod performance was great as is the build quality.
I’m sold on the Old 18 Rod Company
I recently bought the commando 7ft UL BFS rod and paired it with my new Ark Avid reel. The combo is outstanding! I use it to toss weightless soft plastics, and it casts a mile! Great rod, very sensitive, and well built. Ive caught two 18" bass and a 28" freshwater drum with it on 6lb line. I highly recommend the rod and brand!
Very well made, balanced. Paired with a SEVIIN GW3000 reel.
7'6" medium have a quite a few kinetic old 18 rods...power rating as advertised is off on this one..more like 3/8 oz - 3/4 oz medium+ even dipping into medium heavy..not what I was looking for but kept it anyways..would be good for snook/bull reds and a big jig or popping cork..plugs also.
I have two kinetic rods, one casting and one spinning. Will now only buy old18 rods
There’s not enough good I can say about them, just buy them and see for yourself .
