Buoyancy 7'0" Medium Spinning Mod Fast
This is the second buoyancy rod. Paired with a van staal VR51 reel . The reel base is thick and barely allowed the lock nut to **** on. It worked great catching slot reds and 30” sharks at Sabine Pass jetties. Great with speckle trout and bigger red fish. And it looks great!!
The Kinetic - 7'0" Medium Spinning Mod-Fast is an outstanding rod. This is my go to rod when I get to a spot and want to cover a lot of water quickly. I rig it with a Vudu Shrimp under a Woodie Popping Cork and am able to cast all day. It's very balanced and durable, a must have for any saltwater angler.
I looked long and hard to find a 7’6” med Lt casting rod. Purchased this rod to throw small cranks and tubes for smallmouth bass here in Western PA rivers. Paired it with a Revo and 10# Pline Fluoroclear and the rod performs flawlessly. Thank you for a great product.
I was looking for my second bfs rod.
I kept coming back to Old 18.
Glad I pulled the trigger on it.
Got out on the water and started using it.
Caught a small LMB within a few minutes.
The rod performance was great as is the build quality.
I’m sold on the Old 18 Rod Company
Well balanced rod and very comfortable to use all day on a kayak! This is my second buoyancy and both are great rods.
