Beautiful and well built rod! Second to none! Well balanced with my Curado 150 MGL HG, and light. I plan to use it next week and I'm expecting low hand and wrist fatigue after a day of fishing. I've owned other 7'-6" rods and they were all heavy and not this well balanced. I currently own 4 great Kinetic and now 2 Buoyancy rods. In the future, I hope to acquire more in your other models. Old 18 was made aware to me by RX Angler & MDLR Fishing. They weren't wrong, you guys build incredible rods! Thank you for your Service, and providing us with beautiful American made fishing rods! I purchased the Bouancy 7’6” ML casting rod and I was not disappointed. I took it out for the first time trout fishing. I caught 2lb-4lb rainbow trout. The rod handled smooth and perfect. I hooked onto something big but it popped off. I might purchased another Bouancy spinning rod the same size. I highly recommend.

The 7’6” ML blank is amazing for topwaters and finesse swim baits. I picked one up for wade fishing as the extra length allowed me to get further casts.
Craftsmanship can however use some improvement. The first one I ordered, the reel seat was not properly glued and my reel could not be tightened down. Old 18 was quick to send me a replacement but the second one had the same issue. The reel was better on the second rod, but there was also a lot of extra adhesive and epoxy on the carbon fiber handle and guides that I have tried to clean off.
