Suppressor - 7'0" Ultra Light Casting Mod-Fast
Have to say was skeptical at first never had a long UL stick but after fishing it last couple weeks this thing is sweet !!!! I still would love them to make them in shorter lengths like a 6’3 or a 6 ft in casting but if your thinking about purchasing this rod don’t over think it you will love it
It amazes me how easily this rod paired with a bfs reel handles any marsh fish!
Fishing ultralight in salt and fresh for as long as I remember. The old 18 suppressor is my go to for virtually all inshore and freshwater fishing. It can make a crappie fun and can horse in a trophy flounder. Truly a jack of all trades and for my kind of fishing a match made in heaven. If you are on the fence on getting one, get two.
Suppressor Ultra Light rod has the correct feel and control for true ultra light lures. Extremely light weight and attention to details right down to hook keeper. Good sensitivity but I do prefer cork. Solid grade A.
The Kinetic - 7'0" Medium Spinning Mod-Fast is an outstanding rod. This is my go to rod when I get to a spot and want to cover a lot of water quickly. I rig it with a Vudu Shrimp under a Woodie Popping Cork and am able to cast all day. It's very balanced and durable, a must have for any saltwater angler.
I looked long and hard to find a 7’6” med Lt casting rod. Purchased this rod to throw small cranks and tubes for smallmouth bass here in Western PA rivers. Paired it with a Revo and 10# Pline Fluoroclear and the rod performs flawlessly. Thank you for a great product.
I was looking for my second bfs rod.
I kept coming back to Old 18.
Glad I pulled the trigger on it.
Got out on the water and started using it.
Caught a small LMB within a few minutes.
The rod performance was great as is the build quality.
I’m sold on the Old 18 Rod Company
Well balanced rod and very comfortable to use all day on a kayak! This is my second buoyancy and both are great rods.
