7’ light xf buoyancy

Awesome rod, incredibly light. Has some great action in the tip then past abt 20 inches it hits backbone and has a nice consistent bend. The rod feels like air in your hands and is so easy to twitch for any kind of smaller lures you need some more precise action on- also a great jerkbait rod.

I gotta say, the customer service is astonishing great. And old 18 rods are one of a kind bfs rod, Right here in Texas. If anyone were to recommend a bfs rod, this is the one right here.

I haven't used it yet. I'm waiting for my reel to get repaired. The rod is light and I really like the feel of the rod.

Fishing ultralight in salt and fresh for as long as I remember. The old 18 suppressor is my go to for virtually all inshore and freshwater fishing. It can make a crappie fun and can horse in a trophy flounder. Truly a jack of all trades and for my kind of fishing a match made in heaven. If you are on the fence on getting one, get two.

Great rod. Very sensitive but strong. The responsiveness when setting the hook is top notch. I’m looking to buy another one asap.

Haven’t Received Rod

I haven’t received the rod that I ordered. I think the problem may be on the shipping service. The only reason for the negative review is that I attempted to contact Old 18 twice on the issue and have yet to receive a response.
