SLV-FSH-BLOR-575
Protect your investment with an Old 18 rod sleeve. Help prevent breaking or damaging your favorite rod and keep hooks from snagging. Transport and store your rods with confidence, whether you fish out of a kayak, boat, or off the bank.
The sleeve can be used for both casting and spinning and is made of durable neoprene which provides the ultimate barrier you need.
Looks really nice on the old 18 7' kinetic ultra light with a Bates Salty Hundo. And a 7'3" kinetic medium heavy with a Shimano Tranx 200. Another well made product good job Old18!!!
Love this rod sleeve better than the other typical rod sleeves you get. At a very good price as well. It looks well made and I feel it will protect my rod a lot better than the other sleeves.
Just wish they were in stock more often, especially the longer ones
But let’s be honest
I like the rod a whole lot more
Great product, and Old 18 Rod company are s top notch
We purchased several Old 18 rods for our upcoming banquet to pair up with some nice reels and the rods look awesome! We did this last year and the folks that won the rods were really excited and appreciative of the quality!
The Old 18 Ultra Light Kinetic gives great casting and sensitivity in marshes for redfish, trout and flounder. I prefer the Kinetic rod eyelets which are larger ( than Buoyancy) which has less friction for the braid to fluoro knot. The setup gives you fewer wind knots. The rod flexes for trout yet has backbone for over slot reds.
This rod is light and the feel of the grip, balance and ridgitiy is simple awesome! I'm going to be using it as a strolling set up for ffs on largemouth bass! The lakes are still kinda frozen around here. Will upload a pic of the first bass i catch! I have it paired with a lews light hypermag reel, 10lb braid and 10lb floro leader!
Wow, this rod is incredible. Two of my favorite companies in one, and perfect for the small swim baits I love to throw with enough backbone to consistently set the hook. I’d say get one, but I got the last one… hopefully they’ll make something like this again soon, but in the meantime, I’m also very happy with my suppressor.
