A great rod went out and caught a nice 23” black drum on it first day out it handled the fight well and has served me well
Great action, light weight and hyper sensitive. 6’9” medium light extra fast is an excellent choice for trout and redfish!
Super light rod, super high quality
Super high quality rod with great sensitivity. One of the lightest rods I’ve ever used
I’m in love
For Such a Small rod. It sure delivers. I have it equipped w/ the new Aldebaran DC. It throws smaller lures far. I wade here in the Tampa Bay Area. And absolutely love it. Landed some giant Trout. Absolutely delivers. I will be a customer for life. The handle feels perfect into my palm. Like it was made for my hands. I have big hands. Sensitive, Strong and lite. What else can you ask for.
I now have like 7-8 old 18 rods and they are my favorites from ultra light to extra heavy they totally rock
Super Solid Rod
While at the Houston Fishing Show 2026 I had heard about the quality of the Old 18 rods but when I saw and felt it they were ultra light, awesome quality and worth every penny. The Salesman spent the time to demo the Bouyancy rods and the actions with each series. I was in 7.0 med light. Thanks again
