Best of the best my fifth rod from this company
Yet another beautiful Buoyancy from Old 18 and another of many Old 18 rods in my inventory. This will be paired with a Bates 150 Salty and 20 pound braid and fished from my Old Town Autopilot 120 on the flats of the Maryland and Virginia Chesapeake Bay as well as when I can get home to Texas and Louisiana. Haven't had the opportunity to use it yet due to winter here but as soon as I do I will submit some images.
Another gorgeous Old 18 rod and I have many of them! This will be paired with the Bates Goat 150 Baitcasting reel running 30 pound braid. We're in a "Deep Freeze up here in Pennsylvania and I haven't had an opportunity to use it as of yet. As soon as I do I will submit some pictures as well.
Bought this rod based on other reviews , sales price and thought what the heck. It’s very light but has good balance. It’s a great looking rod . The reel seat is a little different then what I’m use to it has double nut lock design. One thing I’d wish it had was Fuji brand eyelets and reel seat. That was the only thing kinda keeping me from buying it.
Used inshore for ned set-up...I've built rods for a long time. This blank/build is very very nice for the price point 💯I've paid $200+ for rods/blanks that do not compare to this kinetic series...this is my third one..I will continue to do business with old 18 it's just too expensive to build rods anymore and makes no sense when you can purchase a rod as nice as this...thankyou and God bless 🙏
