From the muck and mire, where whispers of the willow and the cypress entwine, a thing of power rises. The Commando 7' BFS Rod, born of the deepest swamps of American craft, forged by the hands of Master Builder Jake Brewer. A skeletal frame of premium modulus carbon, light as a dragonfly’s wing, yet strong as the roots of an ancient oak, forms their core.
These are not mere sticks, but conduits of the swamp's very soul, buoyant and alive, able to feel the faintest twitch of a minnow, the lightest kiss of a lurking shadow. They shall reveal the secrets of the deep, and yet possess the might to wrestle the behemoths that dwell within.
Only the finest adorn these instruments. Seaguide D-1 guides with Adaman PVC coating, like polished obsidian, guide the line. Solid one-piece, exposed reel seats, firm as a gator’s grip, hold the angler’s will. And an EVA grip ensures no slip, only the raw, primal feel of the hunt.
The Commando's visage, a thing of the swamp itself. Black and tan, like the mud and decaying leaves, with accents of verdant green, mimicking the moss and algae that cling to the banks. It is a sibling to the legendary SEAL Legacy Rod, a dark echo of its power.
Insanely light, a phantom in the hand, it is built for the long vigil, for the patient stalk, for the precision strike. A weapon honed in the heart of the wild, a tool for those who dare to challenge the denizens of the deep. Commando. A serious weapon for the fight, indeed, for the fight against the unseen, the lurking, the primal.

Tis Rod bussin bussin. NO CAP. Legit custy service as well.
Saw the deal and had to grab a couple more. Great rods for performance and price. Going to have to order a few more rod socks!
I’ve been using a heck of a lot of Old 18 rods going back to the beginning like the Ambush, Hollow Point, Ascent, Kinetic, Suppressor and now this Buoyancy….I’ve got to say this is one heck of a rod! My first time out with it, I landed a 30” Red and it handled it like an absolute BOSS! I landed him with the Medium-Light, Mod-Fast.
