I have purchased 9 of the suppressor series rods over the last 4 years. They’re phenomenal. Great action, super sensitive. I mostly throw light 1/8oz Buggs, soft plastics, topwaters, & Corkys. I use bait when I take the family on the boat. They do it all so well. I sold all my other rods over the years to using exclusively Old 18 rods.
Lightweight and high quality rod. Feels great in your hand.
Very Good rod paired it with a Shimano Aldebaran BFS
Very good rods ,I will be getting some more
It is one of the best rods I own for finesse fishing. Action is perfect and doesn't feel like a noodle. It still has good backbone and enough action to sling small lures. I am eventually going to swap all my other rods with old18.
This rod is only beaten by my medium heavy and heavy kinetic rods lol they have a great back bone I flip with it jerk with it and power drop shot plus use top water baits all on this rod.
Great rods! Long time user still use Ambush series as well!
Jake took care of me. Sent in a rod for repair and he made it as easy as possible to get things done. Also got a light rod and it is great. Thanks Jake and Old 18.
It looks great, it is incredibly light so you get tired less casting. Love this rod. Tried it out at Jetty with a new PENN 4500 Spinfisher. Launched lure into another time zone with little effort!!
